I don't just build e-commerce systems. I run one.

I'm Marc Stan — a senior full-stack engineer (React, TypeScript, .NET, PHP) and the operator of a WooCommerce store doing 2,000+ orders a month. The bot that places its supplier orders, the sub-0.5s add-to-cart, the servers it runs on — I built all of it, on my own money. I do the same for clients: WooCommerce performance, workflow automation & browser bots, and payments — worldwide, remote-first.

Fixed-price rescues

Something broken and costing you money? Start here.

Three productized services with a clear scope, a fixed price, and a paid diagnosis up front — so you never sign an open-ended hourly meter. Each starts with a low-risk diagnosis that's credited toward the fix.

Services

WooCommerce performance, payments, full-stack & automation

Senior engineering where it pays off: fast WooCommerce stores, working Spanish-bank checkout (Redsys, Bizum, Stripe), full-stack product builds, automation, booking systems and .NET modernization — design, build, deploy, and keep it running.

WooCommerce performance & Core Web Vitals

I make slow WooCommerce and WordPress stores fast — green LCP and INP, faster admin, lower hosting cost. The exact playbook behind a store doing 150K visits a month.

  • OpenLiteSpeed + Redis + OPcache
  • Core Web Vitals (LCP / INP) & SEO
  • Custom PHP plugins, cron & DB tuning

Checkout & payments rescue

Failed and declined payments, broken Stripe subscriptions, 3-D Secure / SCA errors, refunds and webhooks that never mark orders paid — fixed fast. Also Redsys and Bizum for European gateways, which most developers cannot touch.

  • Stripe · PayPal · wallets
  • Failed-payment recovery & SCA
  • WooCommerce & headless checkout

Full-stack product engineering

End-to-end web apps that go from idea to revenue. I own the whole stack — UI, API, data, infra — in React, TypeScript, Node and .NET, so there are no handoff gaps.

  • React + TypeScript front-ends
  • .NET / Node / PHP back-ends
  • Astro, Next.js & Cloudflare

Automation & API integrations

The boring work that quietly saves hours every day — order pipelines, invoicing, stock sync, supplier feeds and headless-browser bots — wired together and left to run.

  • n8n pipelines & webhooks
  • REST / API integrations
  • Cron, queues & scraping bots

Booking & reservation systems

Direct-booking websites and reservation engines that take payments and skip the 15% OTA commission — availability calendars, iCal/channel sync and guest portals. The engine behind Kanarix.

  • 0% booking commission
  • Calendar & iCal sync
  • Online payments & guest portal

Enterprise .NET / React modernization

Modernising serious business software. ERP systems, CQRS / MediatR refactors, and typed React front-ends that a team can keep building on.

  • ASP.NET MVC → CQRS / MediatR
  • React Query / Zodios / TS
  • Legacy modernization & E2E tests

Case study

Co-founder & engineer · 2023 — present

My own store — and my loudest case study. Real customers, real money, every day.

I co-founded and run the engineering behind a high-traffic Polish toy store: 2,027 orders in December 2025, typically 25–50 orders a day. The supplier offers no API, so I built a bot that drives their website directly and places every production order unattended — zero manual fulfillment, with a Firebase-backed admin panel and alerts when something needs a human. I migrated the store off shared hosting to a Hetzner CX53 VPS (OpenLiteSpeed, Redis, OPcache) and wrote the custom mu-plugins that cut add-to-cart from ~2.5s to under 0.5s, plus the cron jobs behind stock sync, supplier feeds and email workflows. Paid acquisition runs at 9+ ROAS on Facebook.

Battle-tested store tooling, productized.

I am turning the WooCommerce performance tooling I built for my own store into commercial plugins. ShopTune focuses on backend performance; OrderHQ is an orders workspace (coming soon). Real tools, proven on real traffic before they ship.

Enterprise ERP (React & .NET)

Full-stack engineer · 2019 — 2025

Serious business software, modernised.

Years of building and modernising ERP systems on ASP.NET MVC. I refactored backends toward CQRS/MediatR and led the React Query / Zodios / TypeScript front-end modernisation — building reusable file managers, form creators and recursive CRUD components on DevExtreme. Earlier, I wrote CI/CD-integrated end-to-end test suites in Selenide (Java) for secure banking systems.

About

An operator who builds his own tools

I am a store owner who codes. I co-run a WooCommerce store doing 2,000+ orders and six figures of monthly traffic, which means I do not get to hide behind a clean staging environment — the code I write runs against real customers, real money and real ad spend every day. When your checkout breaks or your fulfillment eats hours, I know exactly how that feels, because it is my problem too.

That pressure shapes how I work. I care about systems that stay fast, infrastructure that stays cheap, and automation that quietly removes work instead of adding it. When something I build for my own store proves itself, I productize it — that is how WooPlugs started.

Before going independent I spent years on enterprise React and .NET — modernising ERP systems toward CQRS, building typed front-ends, and writing automated test suites for secure banking software. I write code that is meant to be maintained, not just demoed.
